Terms of Use of the Jordanian Environmental Trademark Logo
The following conditions govern the use of the JO-Ecolabel logo by licensed entities:
- The licensed entity may use the JO-Ecolabel logo only on products that have been granted the license, and on related advertising, promotional materials, and official correspondence.
- The licensed entity shall obtain prior written approval from JSMO before printing the logo on any new packaging or marketing material.
- The logo shall be used strictly in accordance with the form and specifications set out in the JO-Ecolabel logo guidelines.
- The logo shall be clearly visible, legible, and not misleading, and shall not suggest that the entity itself has been granted the label or that it covers all products of the entity.
- No modification of the logo shall be permitted. No images or additional text shall form part of the logo, and no text shall be written over or superimposed on the logo.
- The logo shall be used with the license/certificate number displayed below it.
- The logo shall not be used on the entity's website or social media platforms unless accompanied by an image of the licensed product or in a manner that clarifies the scope and certificate number.
- The logo shall not be used in any manner that is detrimental to the reputation of JSMO.
- The logo shall not be used with promotional statements that may imply superior technical advantages over other products.
- The logo shall not be used in the event of suspension or cancellation of the license.
- The entity bears sole responsibility for correct use of the logo. In the event of any violation, appropriate legal actions shall be taken.
- JSMO shall have the right to conduct follow-up and audit visits to verify compliance without prior notice.
- If the logo is amended, the entity shall cease using the old logo within a reasonable period determined in coordination with JSMO.
- The entity shall not assign, transfer, or grant the right to use the logo to any third party.
The JO-Ecolabel logo shall be used exclusively in its official full color version as specified in the brand guidelines.
