The laboratory unit provides testing service for a wide range of products, including foods, chemical products, mineral oils, and light lamps of various kinds, using reference examination methods (international, regional, national) or laboratory modified examination methods, and indicating their conformity with the standard requirements and Jordanian technical regulations, or customer's requirements. The laboratory unit in its various departments has obtained accreditation in accordance with the international standard ISO (17025) in a large number of tests, which gives its laboratories international recognition

- Testing of Fatty acids composition in vegetable and Olive oil , since its considered to be one of the most important methods to detect adulteration using (GC FID).
- Testing of preservatives (benzoic & sorbic acids and their salts) in Soft drinks, Fruit juices, milk and Jam.
