The Conformity Certification Department is responsible for issuing conformity certificates for products such as: Jordan Quality Mark Certificate, Conformity Certificate for the Local Purposes, Conformity Certificate for Export Purposes, Halal Certificate for food, Good Agricultural Practices Certificate GLOBAL G.A.P., the SHAMCI Certificate and Organic Certificate.
The Department works according to the international standard "ISO/IEC 17065:2012" that defines the requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services, and it holds international accreditation from the German Accreditation Authority (DAkkS) for issuing Jordan Quality Mark Certificate, conformity certificates in the scope of Paints, Detergents and Good Agricultural Practices Certificate (GLOBAL GAP), it holds the National Accreditation (JAS) for issuing conformity certificates for products exported to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the Saber platform, It holds international accreditation from Emirates International Accreditation Center (EIAC) in the scope of issuing halal certificates for food according to the requirements of Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC); The Gulf Standards (GSO) and the Jordan Standards.
