This Particular Standard specifies requirements for the safety of MICROWAVE THERAPY EQUIPMENT used in medical practice, as defined in Sub-clause 2.1.101, hereinafter referred to as EQUIPMENT. This standard does not apply to EQUIPMENT specified for hyperthermia.
